The perfect transition top - under $30
I am all about comfort when it comes to my clothes - work clothes, casual clothes, dresses, you name it. Now that I have a baby who demands my attention throughout the day, I definitely want comfort to be at the center of my fashion decisions.

I love the length of this top because I am a big fan of longer tops, but the great thing about this piece is that you can tuck it in and it doesn't look weird, even with the longer fabric in the front. I'm also able to bend over, hold my son, things like that, and the shirt stays put and allows me to be flexible, both throughout the day while I'm teaching and later while I'm caring for my son. You can dress it up, dress it down, and mix it up to transition from one part of the day to the next. It's extremely versatile!
Now, let's talk about these shoes. I am a big fan of DSW because you can find so many cute shoes at ridiculously reasonable prices, and I struck gold with these wedges. They're originally $90 elsewhere, but I got them for $60 earlier this summer. They're still in stock in four colors and all sizes, and you can find them online!
In my opinion, they run true to size. For how tall these shoes are, they're extremely comfortable, and I love how the taupe color goes with basically anything.
Logan and I are off to D.C. this morning (without Case - insert all the crying emojis), for one last vacation before I go back to work. Can't wait to explore one of my favorite cities, and it's Logan's first time to visit our nation's capital!
