Ready for Rompers feat. Ferne Boutique
Okay, full transparency here. It was 55 degrees in San Francisco when my photographer husband and I shot these photos. I looked like a fool. I even noticed some people watching me, probably thinking "what in the world is that girl wearing?" Also, 55 degrees in San Francisco is a lot different than 55 degrees in Dallas (think: wind). But I am SO ready for spring and summer weather. I was willing to be freezing and look like a fool.
Okay, back to why you're here. THIS. ROMPER. I could not be happier that I found Ferne Boutique. Laura, the owner, selects the perfect mix of products—trendy pieces, graphic tees, fun jewelry, accessories, candles, you name it. I seriously need to take a trip to Michigan just so I can visit her store in person. They're also hosting a hand-lettering workshop at the store. How fun is that!?
I'm typically pretty wary of rompers. I have a super short torso, so anything with a mid-level waistline doesn't work for me. This romper is extremely flattering on any body type; the waistline is higher, and it has the cutest open back, complete with a tie-up top. I like that it is multi-functional; you can dress it up with a cardigan and wedges, dress it down with a simple pair of sandals (like I did here), or you can wear it as a cover up (I really wanted to head to a beach—a warm beach—when I put this on!).
